The work-item drawer: working one Action
The shared drawer where you work a single Action — details, tasks, activity, and closing it.
The work-item drawer
Click any Action anywhere in Velsano — Today, Pool Queue, an account, a ⌘K result — and it opens in the work-item drawer, the one place you work that item. (The URL gains ?cta=<id>, so the view is shareable.)
What's in it
- Header — the type, title, linked account, status, priority, due date, and owner.
- Tasks — the child steps. Check them off, edit or delete them, or use Add task (title, owner, due date). An Action's progress shows as *done / total*.
- Activity — everything logged against this Action, with a Log activity button (opens the activity form with this Action pre-linked).
- Details — with edit permission, every field saves inline as you change it: description, the "why this Action exists" evidence, reason, product line, linked goal, playbook, and custom fields. Without permission you see the same grid read-only.
The action bar
Along the top: Add task, Log activity, and Apply / Replace playbook. The ⋯ menu holds Delete.
Closing it
Use Close Action… in the footer. Pick a Close Reason, add an optional note, and confirm — any open tasks close with it. Need to pause instead? Snooze it (1 day / 3 days / 1 week) to drop it out of your queue and digest until it's actionable again.
Proposed Actions
An AI-Proposed Action opens a reasoning-forward version of the drawer ("why the agent suggests this") with Accept & activate or Dismiss instead of the management controls.
