Email deliverability: domains, unsubscribe & bounces
Sending domains, the unsubscribe page, compliance, frequency caps, and bounce rates.
Email deliverability
System emails send automatically — no setup required. To improve deliverability and stay compliant, configure Admin Console → Integrations & Data → Email & Deliverability.
- Sending domains — authenticate your own domain (DKIM/SPF): add the domain, publish the DNS records shown, and click Verify (propagation can take up to 48 hours). Optional — a shared sending identity is used otherwise; a subdomain is best practice.
- Email compliance — the CAN-SPAM footer and the opt-out categories shown on the unsubscribe page. A category can be marked transactional (exempt from opt-out, e.g. billing).
- Frequency capping — limit how many emails/surveys a contact gets in a rolling window (off by default; transactional is always exempt).
- Unsubscribe page — design the public opt-out/resubscribe page (branding, copy, reasons). A stated unsubscribe reason is recorded as a signal on the contact.
- Deliverability dashboard — delivered / open / click / bounce / complaint rates over a rolling window. Bounces are handled automatically; you only watch the rates here.
