Reports builder: sources, filters & charts

Build a report from a data source with fields, grouping, filters, and a chart type.

Building a report

Open Reports → New Report to build one. The flow, left to right:

1. Data Source — pick what you're reporting on (Customers, Actions, Opportunities, Contracts, Health Scores, and more — see *Report data sources*). Changing the source resets the report.
2. Fields — search and click fields. Dimensions (text/date) set the X axis or Group By; Measures (numbers) are added with an aggregation (Count, Sum, Distinct, Average…).
3. Chart type — Table, Pivot, Bar, Line, Area, Pie, Donut, Scatter, Funnel, Heatmap, Gauge, or KPI.
4. Group By — group the X axis, bucket dates (Month/Quarter/Year) or numbers (Ranges), and add a second "then by" dimension for series.
5. Filters — a condition builder (match all / any) plus saved Filter Views you can reuse.

A live preview updates as you build. Click Save to keep it, Run to view full results.
