Report data sources
The objects you can report on and how child sources reach parent-account fields.
What you can report on
Every report starts from a data source — the object each row represents. The available sources:
- Customers, Contacts
- Actions (the CTA work objects) and Tasks (child items) (the sub-tasks under them)
- Opportunities, Contracts, Line Items, Renewal Outcomes
- Health Scores, Churn Predictions, Feature Adoption
- Success Plan Objectives, Customer Goals
- QBRs, Support Tickets
- Survey Responses, Survey Sends, Timeline Events
Reaching account fields
Sources that hang off a customer (Actions, Tasks, Health Scores, Timeline, and so on) also expose Account · … fields — the parent account's Tier, Stage, Status, Industry, CSM, ARR, and your custom fields — so you can group an Actions report by Account · Tier without switching sources. When Product Lines are on, relevant sources add a Product Line field too.
Tip
Two labels catch people out: Actions is the CTA layer (the "why"), and Tasks (child items) is the sub-task layer (the "how"). Pick the one that matches the grain you want to count.
