The Value Library
Goals and objectives share one library. The difference:
- A goal is the *what* — an outcome you're driving toward, usually with a metric (e.g. "reduce time to first value" measured in days, "grow seat utilization" to 80%).
- An objective is the *how* — a unit of delivery work inside a success plan (e.g. "complete technical go-live," "establish executive alignment").
Each library entry is tagged for where it can be used — Goal, Objective, or Both — so the right entries show up in the right picker. Shipped entries span value realization (time to value, cut cycle time, consolidate reporting, automate manual work), adoption (active adoption, seat utilization), relationship (executive alignment, champion development, improve satisfaction), risk (diagnose root cause, stabilize support), and commercial (renewal readiness, expand to a new team).
