Catalogs: Features, Milestones, Products & Event Types
The reference lists that power adoption, TTFV, contract line items, and typed events.
Catalogs
Admin Console → Catalogs holds four reference lists that power analytics and automation.
- Features — the product features you track adoption for. A feature's key must match the event names your usage data sends, so adoption reports light up.
- Milestones — lifecycle milestones. Required ones calculate Time-to-First-Value (TTFV); signal and AI milestones can complete themselves.
- Products — the sellable products/SKUs referenced by contract line items (distinct from usage features — what customers *buy*, not what they *use*).
- Event Types — the named events your integrations send to the ingest API. A type's schema validates incoming payloads and powers typed signal-rule conditions.
Tip
Keep the Feature catalog's keys in sync with what your telemetry actually sends — a mismatch is the usual reason an adoption report looks empty.
