Custom objects and Account Profile tabs
Add new record types (like support tickets) that appear as tabs in the Account Profile.
Custom objects
Custom objects are new record types you define without code — Implementation Projects, Escalations, a Risk Register — each a kind of child record linked to an account (one account, many records). Configure them in Admin Console → Data Model → Custom Objects.
Creating one
+ New Object: give it a Name, icon, color, and tab order, then Manage Fields to add typed fields (Text, Number, Date, Dropdown, Checkbox, URL, Email; each optionally required). System fields (Title, Status, Created At) are added for you.
Becoming an Account Profile tab
Turn on Show as tab in Account Profile and the object appears as a tab on every account, where CSMs create and view its records. Some objects ship as *system* objects — e.g. Support Tickets, which connectors like Zendesk populate automatically.
Tip
Custom objects are also first-class report data sources and can be targeted by signal-rule criteria, so anything you model here is fully reportable and automatable.
